Not worrying about it. Even before that article, I refused to worry about it. Remember when saccharin was supposed to cause cancer? Then the word got out that they used test animals that couldn’t throw up and stuffed them full of the stuff (the poor things). They jammed them with so much that it was the equivalent of a human eating pounds of the stuff every day. And amazingly they got sick! Hard to believe. So now that bullshit warning is gone.
These “scientists” do stupid studies to get grants. Some of them are valuable, but many of them are crap (like saying that people who eat more string beans have less heart disease–I made that one up, but just bear with me–without adding that people who eat string beans are likely to eat more of all kinds of vegetables, and people who eat lots of vegetables are more likely to be trim and exercise, etc., but one such article and any number of the mindless herd are rushing out to stock up on string beans!). Guess what, kids, we’re all going to die eventually. Unless someone can show me a real, provable risk, I’m not losing any sleep over it!
Science can do many great things (and I have a strong academic background in the sciences), but most studies that are made public aren’t worth the time to read!
