Avenue Q won the Tony Award for best musical (and best book and best score)! Yay!
By the way, how cute was Rod–and John Tartaglia–hitting on Hugh Jackman? Here’s a photo. “Okay, mate…” “Ooh, say it again.” “G’day, mate.” “Touch me.”

I really want to see Avenue Q! Especially now after having seen the Tonys… I just gotta find someone in NYC to buddy up to… lol
I’ve been warned by my recent date to watch what I say because Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel are two very close friends of his, but, I was kind of happy to watch the “outsider” win the big awards… I think it brings more credibility to the art form when the independent, spunky, “come from nothing” types actually win the big awards versus the lavish multi-million corporate productions that everyone EXPECTS to win. But, I was most impressed with Phylicia Rashad’s win… I almost cried I was so happy…
