An audio report from the field, in which I attempt to find a previously mentioned Rufus poster, or yet another excuse to use my neglected Audblog subscription (transcript below):
Jeff: Hey, Rebel Prince readers, it’s Rebel Prince Radio once again. Finally I’m using Audblog again. So yeah, I had just written that selected music stores will be giving away Rufus Wainwright posters with the purchase of the new album, and so I ran out to Melody Records on Connecticut, where I am right now. And they tell me that the posters haven’t arrived, but that they should be here tomorrow. So yeah, I kind of jumped the gun there. But I did get the new album, so I can’t wait to give that a listen. So yeah, just to let you know, you local Rufus fans, posters should be here soon; they’re not here yet. So that’s it, live from Dupont Circle, and now it’s time to go to work. See you around.
