It is windy and freezing out there! I arrived at work about half an hour ago, and umm, I’m ready to go home now. It’s a holiday, for goodness’ sake. Oh well, I’m just having the “I have to work on a holiday that everyone else it seems gets free (I’m looking at you, Thom)” blahs, plus the usual Monday morning blahs. Blah all around. I need my coffee. That’ll perk me up.

I feel your pain, Jeff. I’m working at home even though there’s no class today. I should say I’m trying to work at home. Feeling lethargic. Need to go to the law library to do research. Not happening.
make that a table for three – I arrived to an empty office this morning – One gentleman is on vacation until tomorrow and the new girl called in sick this morning. Wooh triple the work on a holiday… *swig*

Well, perhaps they should call it MLK Jr and Stevie Wonder day because from what I heard he (and basically he alone) has made this holiday happen for you guys by lobbying your Congress, till they could take no more, and numerous ploys besides to mark MLK Jr’s B-day. I guess they must have pulled many a funny face at Mr Wonder over the years but not being able to see….. I imagine he didn’t get the hints. Bless him, so at least some of you get a day in mid January off from work. Must be nice. I myself have to wait till Family Day on Feb 16th… Ho Hummmm. Yeah, old MLK Jr is certainly in my top ten American’s of all time list. I think it’s only right and proper that you get the day off, but it should be all of you and I’m v. sorry that it isn’t.
I must admit I am gloating somewhat due to the fact that this is one of those rare occurrences when you guys are colder than lil ole me in the Great White North. I think it was +5 degrees C today. Very pleasant indeed.
But remember kittens…Button up your overcoat when the wind is free… take good care of yourselves… you oo oo belong toooo meeeeeeeee ! 🙂
