I laughed knowingly. Speaking of television, I’m rather on the verge of getting cable. Honestly, the only thing stopping me: my apartment is crazy messy. I’m not having anyone over right now (except maybe FEMA to declare it a disaster area), let alone a cable guy. We’ll see. Maybe I can clean up my act in time for, say, The Real World: Paris.

Oh man, if you get cable, you’ll never leave the house! Trust me!

And we can totally discuss RW: Paris! There’s a gay Irishman!! Your Colin Farrell fantasy comes true!

I pretty much stopped watching Real World when my perspective was skewed 90 degrees one day from its formerly imaginative “I could be on this show” to its currently more realistic “my god, I’m old enough to have fathered the kids on this show.” The gay Irishman is cute, but he’s 18 years old. I honestly do have clothes I still wear–of my own, not just retro stuff I’ve bought–that are older than that.

I’ve never really done the Simpsons… Guess that’s a holdover from being raised in such a conservative home.

But yes, we boys will be boys, and we will soon be doing so in New York. 😀

I’m glad to see that this RW season will possibly be worth watching. I hope, at least. This past season was by far the worst EVER.

yeah, last season was positively unwatchable. well, after a few episodes ;o).

but yes, jeff, cable will change everything. cable + tivo + pizza= who needs to leave the house EVER?
